The Pixie Cut

It has been a long battle for me to cut my hair short. I even talk about it in my previous post *remember the day I made my hair Farah Fawcett Style*... I have been contemplating to cut it short since it took me ages to grow it to that length.

Finally, I have the guts to cut it all, I think because my hair is getting worse after the wedding and with the pregnancy, I don't really have the energy to cut it down. After much discussion with hair-stylist, Patricia from KK G-Cut, Here is the final outcome... ehe!

Fun, Fearless and Fabulous Award 2011: Being a Finalist

Its Out!! The October Issue of Malaysian Cosmopolitan 2011. 

It feels surreal looking at my own picture in one of my favourite magazine. I never thought that I would be one of the Finalist for the Cosmo 2011 Fun, Fearless and Fabulous Award. 

FUN FEARLESS FABULOUS Award is an international award organized by COSMOPOLITAN all over the world. This is the fourth time Malaysian Cosmo organizing the event by featuring 12 women with a career that is new and challenging, at the same time looks charming too. Every Month, from January, Cosmo will featured its 12 finalist and by November, they will give the chance to the readers to choose their favourite candidate through SMS and Vote Form.

I am flatter when Anida Hadi (The Editor) emailed and called me to inform me that I was selected and I will be the first finalist from Borneo to be nominated in this award. Plus, the day they called me for the photoshoot is a day after my 25th Birthday!! Its like a wish come true..being featured in the magazine is like something I want back when im still 17 i guess!! ehe!!(The FFF Column is my fav column too..so iuspirational especially last year winner.. Azrina Jane Abdullah ..the Malaysian Drifter)

The photoshoot session was awesome. I've meet with the december finalist as well, which you are yet to find out (don't want to spill the beans just yet)..believe me..she is totally cool!! ;-)

it was the NO.2 on that list which have caught my attention "Never underestimate the power of quality undergarments". I agree with her that, We, women, often neglected or i might say ignored the power of good and quality of our undegarments. We always have that little thought "hey, nobody gonna see what i'm wearing inside, so why bother" or " i'll better save some money so that i can spend on more clothes" BUT think again chicas, how do suppose to feel and look great for ourselves if the foundational undergarment we've chose inside is lame.

Admittedly, me myself was once the victim of wrongful choice of undergarments especially for my twins (hmm..i'm sure you'll understand what i mean..hehe..). I've always thought i should buy those smaller size bra's that will lessen the attention to my boobs. I've realised my twin has always become an attention which somehow at times makes me feel uncomfortable. I don't really bother to know the size of my bra, sometimes, my choice will be those that are fancy without considering its ability to support as well as shape my twins ehe!. Nevertheless, i am one of those girls that thought that i can save some money by buying cheaper set of bras, so that i can spend more on clothes or shoes or bags, or accessories..or ..simply others..Little that i know that my choice of non-quality-unfitted-unfunctional bra lead to my poor posture and makes me look fatter.

I never realize that choosing the non-quality + wrong size for the twin cause my twin to look old and unflattering than it should be (you know..saggy-hangy kinda look). When I realise my wrongful choice, and slowly change it, I was surprised to the wonders of a better choice in buying myself a good quality of undegarments. I feel more confident, I believe my posture improved, and I do feel good in any dress or clothes that i've put on me because whatever it is, I believe I have a strong and supportive foundations!!

R.I.N.G.S :: D'Nu Obssession

Its seasonal I guess, Last year, i was so obssesed with collecting earings (the long and dangling kind of earings) if you'll remember the post, Aha!!

It all started from my trip in the Phillipines. A Christmas gift from Emily Monville, a sweet and "Maganda" lady from IIRR, she gave me this HUGE ring that made from Mother Pearl. Coincidently, before that, I've read these fashion article about RINGS, the fact that BIG HUGE BEAUTIFUL rings could complete/compliment your attire which I found its indeed true. 

and then, Kim came along (my panda colleague), she really does have a good taste in fashion. Her style is more or so alike Summer Girl/Beach babe, it simple but yet in a sexy way, I should say. Hehe, it does sound creepy kan, the way I portray her but..yeah...honesty is the best policy, though. Thats what i thought her style was..so just gonna say it la...Okay..by the way, one day (at work), I saw her wearing a beautiful artistic ring and it really catch my eyes. Haha, I admit I also want one, what can i do...its natural for a girl for wanting something beautiful too..right? ehe!

But, I didn't really go searching for the rings though...only until last month, after we (Kim and I) went for a mani and pedi in donggongon, we found this little shop in Megalong, that sell random cutesy and girly stuff, selling a wide range of beautiful and bold design rings..PLUS, its less than RM10..which is equal to worth it!!

today, we went again for our beauty session weekend and again we went to that little shop and guess what!! we bought RINGS for ourself...hehe!!

My Fourth Ring-Its an Owl...Ironically, My Third was A Glittering Snake!!

P/S :: Highly recommended to complete the look of the day..be it at work or a simple day out!! If there is one accessory that you should buy this month, try buying yourself one of these...and see how the magic works!! Go on pamper yourself, Fashionista !!    ;-)

WoRking LayDee

Its July the thirteen...gosh!! Its officially been 8 days...i've been in the working world...my first day is basically the most boring day i have in the office...duduk-duduk...baca-baca...hehe..look around...get to know people...the basic things you do on the first day...second day..also goes the same thing...Ahah!! Third day is the day..suda start busy...my first work in the panda world is to do follow up with the XXXX org. i've been ask to call and hmmm...berdebor la juga...the funny thing is that..i even write up a script for that conversation...haha...so basically the whole week, ive been calling and doing letters to the stakeholders...i learn a lot and somehow i become fonder to this job as the day goes by....i hope the feeling is mutual too..I mean i hope that the job also love me too..so i can stay in this business for quite a time...wawwww giteww ah...sangat motivational kunu...LOL~~

The one thing i love most about this panda world is its flexibility of time and casuality of work wear. i am not saying that you can came in and go back at anytime you want, but the working time is not like regular office time. its much like when we do our own research or lab work, you fix your own time. Casuality of work wear is the best thing ever in here, you guys should see what we wear everyday...i prefer to call it Smart Casual...hehe...

Basically...Currently..i am happy with my work...means another love in my life...love for the work and for a living planet....yea...Panda...Panda..Chaiyo!!!

The Dangling Obsession

Earingssss..dangling, unique earrings who doesn't love them...every girls loveee earrings and i have to admit i am obsessed with it...actually if you know me..i obsessed with so many things...including HIM...my sweet hot hubby...;-p I guess it all started back when I'm in Terengganu...i remember i saw a beautiful Malay girl wearing a dangling Indian like earrings which look really nice on her..it sooo nice..plus at the time..the earrings was kinda "IN"... so haha..like usual..the quest begin...everywhere i go ill find myself searching of those dangling earrings....i remember i have lots of earrings back then...i have a bag of them...hmmm...but lots of it lost along the way... there were once, the hoop earring was kinda popular back then college...i remember i used this really big hoop earrings and i really love that earrings..cause it just not round but have it some beautiful designs on it..plus i ever saw a Malaysian celebrity wearing the same earring in one of the local mag...haha..no wonder oso..i bought it last time in KL...huh..what to do.. i broke the earrings...got one oso..i adore these earrings i bought during Terengganu Monsoon Cup..it was among the most expensive earrings i ever bought that time..it is made from kayu jati..it was really super duper nice...and yep it cost me RM40...huh...someone borrow it and never give me back..i wonder if i could find that earrings again...honestly..i still been searching that same designs of earring until now...

among the earrings i love most...especially the three tone green earrings (my hunny madu bought it on V-day ;-p) it was really nice...and of cos..have lotsa meaning for me....actually i just bought the wooden board from DAISO (store that sells Japanese good and all were priced rm5)...worth it la juga....i bought this one cause the dolls that i used to hang on my accessories were full...

the black dolls (Again my hunny bunny buy for me during Christmas...i guess it was my pre-Christmas gift) used to hang my accesories..haha..actually this corner were the place i put all my fav things...dusty suda ne...cause near the window..haha..bikin malu jak...

Conclusion; I jusT Luf Earring's and couldn't stop Loving It~~ Lotsa Lotsa of Winking *CIAO*
